The people that are involved in this project are partly professional photographers that are in business for many years, partly they are enthusiastic hobbyists - or people, which got caught - through their documentary work - by the possibilities of VR-Panoramas. All of them collectively share the enthusiasm of using this advanced technology to make their visions real.

Die an dem Projekt beteiligten Personen sind teilweise professionelle Fotografen die auf eine mehrjährige Berufspraxis zurückblicken können - teilweise aber auch begeisterte Hobbfotografen oder Leute, die durch ihre Arbeit auf die dokumentatorischen Möglichkeiten der VR-Panoramen gestossen sind. Allen gemeinsam ist die Begeisterung die sie nicht mehr loslässt und die Freude am Einsatz der Technologie um Ihre ganz persönliche Vision Wirklichkeit werden zu lassen.

Since I got my first Mac i was fascinated about the panorama technology. As a graphicdesigner and panorama fan i am very happy to present panorama pictures about the city I live and work in.

Seit meinem ersten Mac bin ich fasziniert über die Panorama Technologie. Als Grafikdesigner und Panorama-Fan freue ich mich sehr Panoramen von meiner Heimatstadt präsentieren zu können.

Since Quicktime VR was lauched in the mid '90s, panorama photos have become a favourite part in my web/design work. Besides just visual information I always intend to show the mood of the environment in my 360° panoramas. The next best thing to being there.

Als Photograph und MedienDesigner beschäftige ich mit der Panorama-Photographie seit 1996/97. Die Panorama-Photographie bietet mir die Möglichkeit die Gesamtatmosphäre eines Moments einzufangen. Insbesondere ein VR-Panorama besticht durch seine Interaktivität, die Möglichkeit es mit Sound zu versehen, verschiedene VR-Panoramen miteinander verbinden zu können und somit begehbar, erfahrbar zu machen. Fast so gut, wie selbst dort zu sein.

Am besten gefällt mir an der Panorama-Fotografie die grenzenlose Weite und dass die Bilder eine Geschichte erzählen. Am liebsten fotografiere ich Sehenswürdigkeiten in meiner Heimatstadt Linz, schöne Landschaften und besondere Kultur-Events.

I am capturing panoramic images because i can't help doing it. Every new finished panorama is a personal joy for me and one week without a new image is a pain for me.

The thing I like best about Panorama Photography is the challange to find locations that offer interesting views in all directons.
